The motel isn’t fancy but it’s clean, it’s safe, it’s convenient, it’s comfortable and I was blown away that it has WiFi . My two week stay with my Labrador Retriever BoSox was excellent. The owner Sandy was very friendly and accommodating. I would unequivocally return and recommend the Duck Away Motel to all.
This was such a cute little place in a perfect location to enjoy the thousand islands. The rooms were very clean. The owner was even kind enough to recommend a local playground for us to take our sons to. We had a great time and will be back again!
Buddy and I came up for a weekend of fishing and stayed here. Clean rooms. Nice beds, cable, mini fridge, dresser. Coffee pot is small, but we had a bigger one. Great place and great price. Definitely recommend this place and if I need a place to stay, it will be here.
Rooms are always nice, clean and well taken care of. It has all you need. The owner is super nice and always easy to communicate with. She’s affordable and takes care of the place!

Slightly behind on giving this review. I have stayed in many of places over my short 40 years of traveling. 34 of those years I can still remember most of those. Finally, after 2 years of not getting out for some duck hunting with friends...this just happened to pop up the closest to where we would be hunting. It also just happened to be close by to one of my old coworkers in which was a bonus! You can't beat the price, the customer service, and ease of making everything happen. The biggest thing if anything...convenience. There is enough available local to sustain most anyone's need. From food, gas, etc. I will apologize as I used both beds during my stay...I am one very uncomfortable sleeper when away from home/my home comforts. Come next year if we end up hunting out that way I will definitely be reaching out again to book a room. Thanks for the stay!
